Practitioner Community Circle
at Spring Village Center for Therapy & Wellness in Wyndmoor

These circles may be useful for: Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists/Psych NPs, Social Workers, Counselors, Body Workers (e.g. Massage therapists, Acupuncturists, Craniosacral therapists), Yoga or Meditation teachers, Birth Workers, PT/OT/ST folks, or Professors in Mental Health and/or Human Services.

A free monthly group for like-minded helpers, healers, teachers & providers of various services. These meetings are intended to function like a community ‘satsang’ — which translates as ‘company of truth.’

We’ll begin with a brief mindfulness practice, followed by sharing space & connection that includes opportunity to voice joys, difficulties, or ambivalence in our vocations. Sharing is not required — attentive listening is plenty, and fully encouraged.

Please note this is not peer consultation — no identifying client/case/student information is to be disclosed. All confidentiality principles will be upheld. This gathering is meant to resource your spirit & your heart.

No registration or sign-up needed — if you’re unable to attend, we welcome your good energy towards the collective.

As the Autumn Equinox arrives, it’s a point in the year when we may desire a return to steadiness. This Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath workshop will orient participants to such seasonal wisdom through yoga poses, reiki & and music provided. We look forward to having you!

As a Blue Banyan alum — and forever fan — Carly is always thrilled to return and facilitate this offering. Yoga from a Trauma-Sensitive Lens
at Spring Village Center for Therapy & Wellness in Wyndmoor

Saturday, October 17th from 1-4pm
$45 per person | $85 covers you and a friend

This workshop is designed for yoga teachers curious about integrating Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY) components into their facilitation.

We can never be certain what experiences or backgrounds students bring with them onto their mat. TSY can create an environment where participants are encouraged to choose their way of moving throughout a yoga practice — compared to the ways that trauma takes one’s agency and control away. A TSY approach offers engagement opportunities in breathwork and movement, while incorporating key elements such as invitational language and interoceptive cues (one’s internal, felt experience).

The afternoon will include an optional TSY practice (about 30-45mins), some history and methodology of this practice, and Q&A.

When you’re ready, you can click here to register.
